As well as shopping at Torrid on Black Friday, I picked up a few pieces from some stores that are old favourites – ASOS, Society+ and Yours Clothing. These are some of the stores that I shop at most often, because they are reasonably priced, have free or reasonable shipping, and often have specials. Another big drawcard for me to shop with these stores is that they are usually pretty consistent with sizing.
The jumpsuit I picked out is the first one I’ve ever worn, and after having a play around I’ve decided that I prefer it worn with a belt as you can see above (you’ll be able to see what it looks like without a belt in my video). I would love to know if you have any styling tips though – if you have any suggestions of what you think it would look good with, or how you’d wear it, let me know in the comments.

I will definitely be wearing this dress with stockings, as it’s quite short on me!
The ASOS CURVE High Neck Top is by far my favourite – I already have lots of different outfit combos happening in my head, so I know that I will have no trouble styling that when the weather cools down enough to wear it.

A bit of a tangent, but I’m really curious about what you do when something doesn’t fit or for some other reason you know you won’t wear it? I’m guessing you can’t return the Black Friday stuff. I tend let things sit around under some delusion that I’ll some day wear them! I need new strategies.
Funny you ask that – I actually ordered a number of things from Yours Clothing that I didn’t show in this video because I’d already sent them back! Posting stuff back can be pretty expensive (unless it’s within NZ or there is free return shipping like with ASOS), so you need to make sure that it’s a good decision financially to send them back. If only one or two things from an order don’t fit or don’t suit me, I sell them. Great choices Megan! I’ve never bought anything from Society+, how’s the shipping (cost & timeframe)? And do you purchase in US or Australian dollars?
They have a flat rate of USD $24.99 for global shipping, which makes it super easy to work out! They ship within a couple of days of ordering and I usually get my orders within two weeks give or take. I purchase in USD because I have a Paypal account in USD 🙂
