Even though I’m supposed to be trying not to shop, and saving my money, there were a few things I couldn’t help picking up recently. I’m not planning to add a whole lot of things to my summer wardrobe, these are just a few things that I’ve been on the lookout for or really wanted to try out (plus I took advantage of ASOS’s up to 70% off, it would have been rude not to). And so here we are, with another clothing haul – this time including activewear, swimwear, shoes and other summer clothes.
ASOS CURVE Pleated Wide Leg Culottes from ASOS (26)
ASOS CURVE Dropped Hem Sleeveless Mini Smock Dress from ASOS (28)
ASOS FERGO Woven Cross Strap Leather Sandals from ASOS (EU39)
ASOS JOSIE Wide Fit Espadrilles from ASOS (EU39)
Alexia Striped Midi Dress from Kmart (26)
Swim Briefs from Autograph (26)
Mesh Self Stripe Rash Vest from Autograph (26)
Autograph Active Space Dye Crop Top from Autograph (24)
I’ve always struggled with tucking tees in to trousers, and I kind of started to get over that with a bodysuit (because you have no option – nothing like giving myself an ultimatum!). This is a whole different story though, it feels really natural to wear my tops tucked into the culottes – I think largely because they have so much volume that my instinct is to pair them with a more streamlined top to balance the look out.
All up I’m very happy with my haul, especially the ASOS CURVE Culottes and the Rash Vest from Autograph (by the way, I noticed this morning that they have 30% off swim at Autograph right now so the rash vest is NZD$38.49 if you wanted one).
Are you on the lookout for anything for summer?
Let me know which of the pieces I picked is your favourite!

Your skin looks so fresh and lovely!! Love the Rash Vest!!!……and Active Top
Thank you! I’ve been taking very good care of my skin lately 😀
The rash vest looks awesome, I have thought if I ever go swimming, I would get one to hide me upper arms. But I could never find some sort of swim wear bottoms that also cover my knees and upper legs too.
Hi Fiona, you can get swim shorts, leggings and capris, maybe one of those would work for you? Here’s a few I found. You could then layer boardshorts over the top if you wanted
The rash vest looks great – nice fabrics and different textures. I’ve just bought a white dress from ASOS too – must be a trend we are starting 😂. Great haul – look forward to the next one
I love the textured arms! Hurray for white dresses, I’m still on the hunt for the perfect one (long flowing maxi), but this is a good one to get me started
