It’s undeniable – the world of blogging is becoming more and more popular, and with plus size fashion largely relegated to online stores, it should come as no surprise that the ranks of plus size style bloggers are growing. This is awesome because it means that you can find people whose style fits with your own – meaning you’ve got shopping ideas, fashion tips and style inspo right at your fingertips. Here are some of my favourite plus size style bloggers to follow at the moment, just to get you started:
ChloEllio
Chloe is a Scots babe who lives Dorset, and blogs about fashion, beauty and lifestyle stuff (like her recent trip to the Cotswalds – swoon!). Her style is … hard to describe. She seems to have the perfect thing for every occasion and looks comfortable whether she’s dressed up or dressed down – she’s the stylish girl next door. Check out her blog and find her on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Curves Become Her
Aarti is a Singapore-Indian body positive plus size fashion blogger. I especially value the way she talks so candidly about eating disorders, mental health and all manner of other issues. I really like Aarti’s playful style and the way she pushes herself out of her comfort zone – it inspires me to do the same, both as a blogger and with my clothing choices. Find her at her blog and on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Danielle Vanier
If I had to pick just one word to sum up Danielle’s style, it would be bold. Graphic prints, bright colours, statement pieces – even when she’s dressed in black and white, this UK blogger stands out. Her makeup always looks fabulous and she shares a few of her beauty faves on her blog as well fashion and lifestyle posts – don’t forget to check her out on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter as well.
Flight of the Fat Girl
Cynthia from Flight of the Fat Girl is a Canadian blogger who likes to be bold and take risks with her style. Curve hugging, skin baring, not curve hugging … she’s not afraid to choose clothes that some might deem “unflattering”, but she doesn’t care. And why should she, she looks bloody fabulous! Check out her blog, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter – you’ll see what I mean.
From the corners of the Curve
Callie is a Welsh girl living in London who shares her fashion food, travel and lifestyle adventures on her blog, From the corners of the Curve. I think her style is quite similar to my own – mostly neutral, a darker palette with the occasional pop of colour. You can also find her on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Just Me, Leah
I love East Sussex based blogger Leah not just for her great dress sense but also because she is such a big advocate of selfies. Feel like you’re looking amazing? Share a selfie. Wearing makeup (or not!) and feeling beautiful? Share a selfie. Feeling like crap and need a pick me up? Share a selfie! She’s the queen of selfies and I’ve learned to embrace them as well. Leah’s outfits are fun, and as of late have taken a darker turn which I love (of course). She shares her fashion, beauty, lifestyle and opinion on her blog, and you can also find her on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Latest Wrinkle
Oh my gosh, I die over Canadian blogger Amanda’s Instagram feed. It’s so beautifuuuul. Just like her dress sense. Amanda is one for the details – something you’ll notice immediately if you’re following her Instagram, but also if you pay close attention to her outfits. Gorgeous fabric, lovely finishes, combinations that sometimes I wouldn’t even think of and finished with the absolute perfect accessories. Make sure you check out her blog, Facebook and Twitter as well.
Life and Style of Jessica
If you haven’t heard of Jessica Kane, you must be living under a rock – not only is she a fabulous plus size fashion blogger from the USA, she’s also the CEO and founder of Skorch Magazine, and Creative Director at Society+. Her style is easy, wearable and not constricted by so-called fashion rules and just like her photos she is 100% real – no filter and no photoshop. She’s not afraid to speak her mind and she’s just an all around fabulous #girlboss. Check out her blog and follow her on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
Margot Meanie
Canadian blogger babe Margot is the brains behind popular body positive challenge #rebelliousselflove – I’ve been taking part in the challenge this month and it’s been great for pushing me outside my comfort zone. I’d describe her personal style as a mix of alternative witchy goodness. She’s not afraid to push the boundaries – make sure you check her out on her blog, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Monochrome & Simone
Nina is an inbetweenie body positive fashion blogger from New Zealand with fabulous style – her look is polished but playful and she’s the sophisticated sassy minx I want to be when I grow up (let’s ignore the fact that I’m much older than her). Nina is fairly new to the blogging world so her actual blog is quite quiet, but she’s all over Facebook and Instagram.
Nataliemeansnice
I think I’ve mentioned this before, but Texan gal Natalie is my style idol. I swear, every time she shares an outfit, I am drooling over it. She doesn’t give a fuck about so-called fat girl style rules – Natalie rocks short dresses, crop tops, pencil skirts, stripes – you name it. She’s sassy, sweet and was my introduction to body positivity. I just love her so much, okay guyyyys? Find her on tumblr, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for more awesomeness.
Rachel GeeBee
NZ inbetweenie blogger Rachel’s been featured on my blog before, and I’ve watched her style evolve over the last few years. She takes no shit, her outfits are well tailored and she’s a body positive #girlboss. Follow her adventures on her blog, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Regina and Peachtree
The brains behind NZ’s Lovely Larger Ladies Plus Size Fashion Show and more recently, a plus size calendar, Regina Alai is another Kiwi blogger whose style I’m loving. Her looks are always well put together – make sure you check her out if you want some office-wear inspo because this chick makes professional attire stylish! She’s another newish blogger whose blog is still building, but she’s a regular poster on Facebook and Instagram.
She Might Be Loved
Babin’ UK blogger Georgina has some amazing outfits, including frocks that make me swoon (like this one above). I dress quite casually a lot of the time now that I’m working from home, but Georgina’s posts make me want to dress up on the daily. Check out her style on her blog, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Wait Until The Sunset
Liv is an Australian plus size blogger whose style is everyday wearable gorgeousness. She’s not afraid of bright colours or bold prints, and her enthusiasm for everything is catching. Check out her blog and find her on Facebook and Instagram.
Willow Curves
I met Aussie plus size style blogger Amy last year after falling in love with her style which is bold and feminine. Amy loves colour and sparkle, and isn’t afraid of bold patterns when the occasion calls for it – check out her blog (which has some ah-mazing pictures!), and make sure you follow her on Instagram.
